TRAI website goes down, Anonymous hackers claim responsibility

New Delhi: On a day when the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) was to release one million email addresses from which they received responses on the net neutrality debate, Anonymous India (@opindia_revenge) claimed to have hacked the website on Monday, which was denied by the regulator. The site was re-accessible after a short downtime. While the landing page earlier said the website was down, the hacker group on Monday posted on its Twitter account: "'Host is down' all over my terminal. Thank you! Boom Boom." However, denying any hacking of the website, officials said the site was down "due to some technical glitches".
